Voyage in Time

Privacy Policy

Voyage in Time is a guided-tour app for visitors to Paris. This policy explains what personal information the app uses, why, and what your rights are.

In short: you don't need an account, there are no adverts and no tracking, and almost everything the app knows about you stays on your phone.

Who we are

The app is published by Voyage in Time, a sole trader (micro-entrepreneur) registered in France.

We are the "data controller" for the personal information described here, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For anything about this policy or your information, email info@voyageintime.com.

What stays on your phone

What we receive

Services the app relies on

Some features work through other companies' services. To provide them, these services receive technical information such as your IP address and the type of device you use, and handle it under their own privacy policies:

Where these companies are outside the European Union, the transfer of your information is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

What we don't do

We don't ask you to create an account, show adverts, use advertising or tracking tools, build profiles of our users, or sell or share personal information.

Children and families

Some of our tours are designed for families with children. They are meant to be enjoyed together, with an adult: the app is not intended for children to use on their own.

The app doesn't ask children for any personal information. The contact forms are for adults. If you think a child has sent us personal information, please tell us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to limit how we use it, to give you a copy of it, or object to our using it. Email info@voyageintime.com and we will reply within one month.

Most information stays on your phone, so you control it yourself: deleting the app removes it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or to the authority in your own country.

Security

Messages you send us travel over an encrypted connection.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date below. If the changes are significant, we will also tell you in the app.
